StatCounter.com

StatCounter.com is definitely the best site for tracking visitors on your. The reason why I choose to review it and share it with my readers, is that its free and invisible compered to rivals like sitemeter.com .

I used it for the first time a year ago, on some small projects and I’m really satisfied. The statcounter is full with features like:

Popular Pages
Entry Pages
Exit Pages
Came From
Keyword Analysis
Recent Keyword Activity
Recent Came From
Search Engine Wars
Exit Links
Exit Link Activity
Visitor Paths
Visit Length
Returning Visits
Recent Pageload Activity
Recent Visitor Activity
Recent Visitor Map
Country/State/City/ISP
Browsers
etc.

It can be used on multiple web sites, without having to register once again at the website, instead you can easily create a new project when you log in on your account. The code comes with tutorial which described how to implement it on almost any CMS or blog, which can be hosted on your hosting account or it can be even on a server which is managed by a company such as blogspot.com. If your still on sitemetter, give it a try because its free and I’m sure you’ll transfer soon to statcounter.com.

The only limitation is that statcounter in free edition keep records of the latest 500 visitors only, but you can download the activity and save it on you PC at anytime. I’m going to give a 3.7 if someone would ask me to rate it from 1 to 5
