Blacksn0w wifi problems
I got an email from a user that was complaining that he’s wifi is not working on the Iphone after blacksn0w. And I did a little research on the Internet and that is TRUE. This issue is mostly common for 3G version and very rare on the 3GS. So far both my 3G and 3GS works fine on Internet.
GeoHot did a research also and they say that it is not a Blacksn0w unlock app bug, but is Apple’s 3.1.2 firmware bug. Blacksn0w does not cause the problem at all. GeoHot can fix it and we’re waiting for for the new BlackSn0w RC2 (which will fix the Iphone bug).
In mean while you can try a “Reset Network Settings”
Many users are also reporting Push problems and You tube error on the new 3.1.2 firmware. You can fix that by downloading ”Push Fix” which can be found at “http://cydia.iphoneil.net”, add that source to cydia, and install Push Fix.
Please also note: If your ipt2/3GS/ipt3 is rebooting into recovery after running blackra1n, this isn’t a bug. It’s a feature. You need to run blackra1n every time to boot it. This ‘feature’, called tethered jailbreak, is enabled by upgrades Apple made to the bootrom and the fact ipt3 uses nand flash.
And in the end make sure your install AppSync for 3.1.2 (you’ll find it under the name appsync 3.1 but works for 3.1.2) or Installd for 3.1.2 which are basicly the mipatch for 3.1.2 (mipatch is the old name). Use the search box to find more info from my previous posts.
