Jailbrake and unlock for the new IPHONE 3GS ?

If you own a Iphone 3GS, very soon you will be able to jailbrake and unlock it according to GeoHot. They claim that they achived to insert a custom command to iBoot meaning sigchecks have been bypassed .  They might name it purplera1n, because they even registered a domain under that name: purplera1n.com (but so far they have hosted just a picture of a man and an iphone :( ) .

If the jailbrake is real, this is a great news for unlocking too, becouse thoreticly ultrasn0w will unlock iphone 3gs without problems.  Here is a screenshot of the work so far:
